Three Weeks Old ♥

Alfie now weighs 4lbs & 6oz and is starting to put weight on more rapidly now, he's starting to turn into a chunky little monkey hehe and you can definitely feel the difference in weight from the day he was born when you hold him even family members have said they can see such a difference in him now. Alfie can finally suck milk from a bottle not too much but he's finally able to swallow a couple of mouthfuls himself without choking and bringing it back up and covering himself in milk but the rest is still fed to him through the tube into his stomach so he's still getting all the nutrition he needs to help him grow into a big and strong little boy.

We are now able to hold Alfie for long periods of time now instead of a odd ten minutes here and there which me and his daddy are completely loving! We feel like we are finally able to catch up on special bonding time that me missed out on during the first couple of weeks and I think Alfie is enjoying all of the cuddles aswell, he especially seems to like when we sing twinkle twinkle little star to him as he starts sucking his thumb and then falls asleep by the time the song is finished it's the cutest thing ever :).
